ODA on Intangible Cultural Properties
Project Overview
Since 2015, the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation has been promoting projects of supporting intangible heritage protection in partner nations, under the support of the Cultural Heritage Administration. The projects have been realized in Southeast and Central Asia, including Cambodia, Laos, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, aiming to enhance the capability of protecting their own intangible heritage. The foundation supports the nations to select intangible heritage which needs to be protected and to conduct listing and video recording of the heritage to set up the basic data needed for registration of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
